Yes, glass doorknobs!
One of a kind, solid glass doorknobs and pulls…how cool is that! Our knobs have a great look and feel to them. These work on both inside doors and outside gates and make a great accent to any home. Doorknobs range from 2.75″ to 3.5″ diameter. They come with a solid brass collar permanently attached to the handmade glass knob. Designed to use with a square spindle and set screw, this hardware required to mount our knobs is sold separately. Baldwin Hardware Estate Collection is what we recommend, as we have designed our custom brass collar to work well with these parts. We can order them for you or provide you with all the part numbers needed and let you order them directly.
We create our cabinet pulls between 1.75″ to 2″ diameter. The glass is mounted to either a nickel silver or brass fitting and with a single screw, they easily attach to a drawer or cabinet door. The 1″ screw included should work on most doors and drawers but if the wood is thicker, it may require a longer screw. Just make sure to leave about 1/4″ of the screw extending through the hole of the door when threading on the knob. Enough to grab the fitting properly and not fall off.
Color Options?
We layer concentrated glass colors under molten clear furnace glass for a very optic, 3-D effect. Most knobs we make are either in solid transparent colors, mixed colors or dichroic glass on opaque colors. In addition we make sandblasted and wheel engraved knobs for an extra custom look and feel. We can also create special mixes of colors to coordinate with and compliment you décor.
