Description
First a bowl was hand blown in cobalt blue glass. The swimming dolphins and waves on the lid were sculpted in wax around the glass vessel, and then these elements were cast in bronze using the lost wax process. The starfish and shells were also sculpted in wax and cast in bronze to create the pedestal for this one of a kind piece. Patinas were added to the bronze to give the sculpture added depth and texture.
