Gator Bowl

Categories: Paperweights, Bronze & Glass
  • Description

Description

The vessel for the Gator Bowl was hand blown and then sandblasted and painted with oils. A lid was sculpted in wax and cast in bronze using the lost wax method of bronze casting. This piece has received national recognition, selected by Corning Museum of Glass for their international publication, “New Glass Review” in 1989. A slide of this artwork is also recorded in the permanent archive collection at the Museum.
