Description
We started with a fly rod and caught ourselves a trout. The trout was then preserved for posterity in a bronze casting. A clear vessel was hand blown and sandblasted with a river bed and fish. Three dimensional river rocks were created with hot glass, then sandblasted and placed in the bottom of the vase. The lid rendered in bronze and the base fabricated in mixed metals to finish off the design. A hand tied fly sits inside the mouth of the bronze fish. This was the catch that couldn’t get away!
